【報告人簡介】Dr. Gerard Williams is an experienced corporate and government affairs strategist, political scientist and academic researcher. He was formerly Vice-President, Asia-Pacific to a leading German and EU government affairs consultancy, Miller & Meier Consulting and has served in leading positions, managing and advising a variety of leading global companies in cross-border and top bracket investment contexts, including green energy, agriculture, technology and trade-based lobbying strategy design. He has been a guest researcher of the Carl Friedrich von Siemens Foundation in Munich and was Executive Strategy Manager of the Australian Davos Connection Forum, affiliate of the World Economic Forum. He has lectured at the Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg in governance, economy and sustainability and at The University of Melbourne in political economy and IR. He holds a PhD in political philosophy and maintains advisory roles in Asia and Europe to chiefs of industry and senior public affairs and investment partners. He continues his research into the fundamentals of political science and philosophy.
